IntellxxDNA Annual Conference on Applied Genomics 2026
July 24-26 | Austin, Texas
The Mental Wellness Track Built for Psychiatrists, Pediatricians & Mental Health Practitioners
The 2026 IntellxxDNA Annual Conference will include a dedicated Mental Wellness Track designed specifically for clinicians working in psychiatry, pediatrics, and/or mental health.
Mental Wellness Track participants will join the general session alongside newer IntellxxDNA users. Alternatively, if you have ordered 5 or more reports, you are welcome to attend the advanced track session.
Saturday Morning — Mental Wellness Sessions
ADHD and the A’s: ADHD and Asthma
Angela’s case may surprise you. Through her IntellxxDNA Mental Wellness Report, the underlying drivers of her lung issues came into focus: mast cell dysregulation and oxidative stress. Explore how these same factors connect to ADHD and what this case reveals about the overlap between mental and physical health. Emily Gutierrez, DNP, IFM-C, MAPS-F
Super Anxious: Is It Hypomania or High Cortisol?
Corty presents with anxiety, bipolar disorder, and IBS. This session introduces NR3C2, a gene variant that regulates the HPA axis and may contribute to hypercortisolism raising the question of whether “bipolar” is the full picture, especially alongside high glutamate SNPs. Jennifer Kraker, MD
Introducing Lexxi – The Newest Addition to our IntellxxDNA Team (20 minutes)
During this session you will have a chance to really get to know the power of Lexxi – IntellxxDNA’s new assistant that will help you select pertinent SNPs and develop a plan in a flash. Carol Bilich, Sharon Hausman-Cohen, MD – IntellxxDNA Co-Founders
GCH1: GCH1 is the Little-Known Big Sister to MTHFR. (40 min) GCH1 has huge implications in mental health as it lowers the synthesis of BH4 the key cofactor needed for making serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine and nitric oxide. This gene variant when found in a homozygous state (4% of population) can contribute to everything from depression and ADHD to anxiety, ASD, PMDD and other behavioral issues. Sharon Hausman-Cohen, MD
NOTE: During this session Dr. Kristine Burke will be presenting cases from the Evanthea cognition trial in the main session so adult practitioners who work with cognitive decline will be encouraged to go to that session. You will have other opportunities to meet Lexxi!
When the Case Gets Tough: Alcohol Use Disorder and Depression
A young man struggling with alcohol use disorder and depression leads us into the cysteine and glutamate pathways and a rare finding that affects only 1.8% of the population. Understand how low cysteine, reduced glutathione, and impaired butyrate production may all be contributing factors in ways standard workups miss. Jennifer Kraker, MD
Saturday Afternoon — Joining the Main Session
- Irreplaceable: Building Your Brand — JJ Virgin, author and business coach
- How Genomics Exposed Unique Associations in a Complex Multisystem Patient with MCAS and TILT (Toxicant Induced Loss or Tolerance) — Jessica Knape, MD
- Adult Dual Diagnosis ASD Study Update: Can Genomics Improve Quality of Life and Functioning for Adults Living in a Residential Facility with Severe ASD — Andrea Iannuzzelli, DO
Sunday — Full Group All tracks come together for a deep dive into gut health, autoimmune disease, and the latest updates on genomic interventions.
